The John Deere 1200A Bunker and Field Rake helped debunk the theory that it takes an expensive all-wheel-drive machine to perform well on golf courses, sports fields, or new-course construction projects.
The 1200A features the same job-proven drivetrain found in the popular John Deere Gator 4x2 Utility Vehicle. This engine runs easier at 3,100 rpm. This, along with an improved muffler and cowling design, combine to reduce machine noise significantly.
Operators will also notice a number of comfort and productivity features in the 1200A. These include 40 percent less steering effort, an adjustable high-back seat, standard power lift of the rear rake, counterbalanced frontand mid-mounted implements, external-fill fuel tank, improved braking system, and removable instrument panel for easier service access.
